Maryland Outdoor Kitchens
Outdoor Kitchen Builders Serving Central Maryland
Custom outdoor kitchens, fire pits, and outdoor fireplaces across Harford, Baltimore, Cecil, Anne Arundel, and Howard County. Designed as part of the whole outdoor space, not bolted on afterward.
The Question Everyone Asks
Should an outdoor kitchen be covered?
This is the question we get before any other, and the honest answer is that it depends on what you are putting in it. A built-in grill and a stone counter will survive uncovered in a Maryland winter. A refrigerator, an ice maker, cabinetry, a television, or anything with electronics will not last nearly as long without a roof over it.
Weather is only half of it. The other half is how often you actually use the space. An uncovered kitchen gets used on nice evenings. A covered one gets used in light rain, in August sun, and well into the fall, which for most homeowners is the difference between a feature and a room.
We build both, and we would rather talk you through the tradeoff before design than watch you replace an appliance in three years.
We wrote the longer version of this: Uncovered vs covered outdoor kitchen, which is better?
Why Custom Design & Build
One company for the whole space
Designed With the Structure
Most outdoor kitchens fail because the kitchen and the cover are designed by different people. We plan them together.
Built by Our Crews
The people who design your outdoor kitchen are the people who build it.
Permits Handled
Outdoor kitchens can involve structural, gas, and electrical permits. We handle the filing and the inspections.

What Goes In
Built around how you actually cook
Built-In Grill Stations
Grill stations and counter runs sized for how you cook, with the prep space next to the heat where it belongs.
Covered Outdoor Kitchens
Kitchens built under a porch roof, pergola, or pavilion so the space works in rain, August sun, and late into the fall.
Bar Seating and Prep Space
Counters laid out for guests on one side and the cook on the other, not a grill shoved against the house.
Storage and Cabinetry
Weather-rated storage and cabinetry planned into the layout, so tools and supplies live outside where you use them.
Utility Runs Planned In
Gas, water, and power roughed into the build rather than added later, which is when it gets expensive.
Deck and Patio Integration
Integrated with your existing deck or patio, or designed as part of a new one so everything works as one space.
Want the kitchen under cover? We build the porch roof or patio cover and the pergola or shade structure as part of the same project, designed together from the start.

Fire Features
Fire pits and outdoor fireplaces
An outdoor kitchen gets used for an evening. A fire feature is what keeps people outside after the food is gone, and it extends the season further than anything else you can add. We build both built-in fire pits and full outdoor fireplaces, designed into the patio or deck layout rather than dropped on top of it.
Fire features are commonly built alongside the kitchen in the same project, and we build them across the area, from Bel Air and Fallston in Harford County to Perry Hall and White Marsh in Baltimore County.
What It Costs
What does an outdoor kitchen cost?
The range is wide because the scope is. A built-in grill and a counter run is a very different project from a covered kitchen with utilities, appliances, and a fireplace. What moves the number most is whether the space needs a roof, and whether gas, water, and power have to be run to it. We give a to-the-penny proposal before any work starts.
